Privacy Policy — Revive

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Revive ("the app") is developed by Gaurav Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Photos you restore

When you restore a photo, the image is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing server, which forwards it to our AI processing partner (Replicate, Inc.) to perform the restoration. Images are used solely to produce your restored photo, are not used to train AI models by us, and are automatically deleted from the processing infrastructure after a short period. Restored photos are stored on your device only; we keep no copy.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by the store you bought from — the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad, or Google Play on Android — and managed through RevenueCat, which receives a pseudonymous identifier and purchase state so the app can unlock Premium features. We never see your payment details.

Advertising

Free-tier rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process an advertising identifier subject to Google's privacy policy. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. On iPhone and iPad, Revive does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so the identifier used for tracking is not available to it; you can review this under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Analytics & crash reports

We may collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase) to improve stability. These contain no photos and no personal identity data.

What we do not collect

No account is required. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or photo library beyond the single photos you explicitly choose to restore.

Data deletion & contact

Restored photos and app data can be removed by deleting them in the app or uninstalling it. For any privacy request, contact appsbygaurav@gmail.com.

Children

Revive is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
